Annual Gentlemen’s Cake Auction
The Annual Gentlemen’s Cake Auction is set for Sunday, April 23. 2017, the Second Sunday of Easter, following the 10:00 a.m. service. Our Auctioneer Emeritus Mark Hansen will be with us to oversee and supervise the event, and the Rev. Canon A Bradford Purdom III, bishop’s canon for congregations, will be here for worship as guest presider and preacher.
The Children’s Children’s Center of Medina County, whose mission is to nurture abused and neglected children through collaboration, advocacy, treatment and prevention, is the designated beneficiary of funds raised in this year’s auction. The Center’s executive director, Rhonda Wurgler, will be with us on Sunday, March 26, to tell us more about the Center and its work.
