Every minute of every day an infant is learning about the world, and parents and care-givers are our babies’ first teachers. Whenever we listen, reply, or repeat words or even sounds, we are teaching our children about language, about culture, about God’s world and God’s Word. Picture and story books are our helpers in this learning. A child’s growth and development depend not only on formal teaching but also on informal daily interactions with grown-ups who care. Our church Nursery provides a safe, stimulating learning environment for the infants and toddlers of the parish.
Nursery care is available every Sunday during Sunday School and the later worship service. Our care givers are certified in CPR and required by the parish and diocese to be trained to identify and avoid child abuse. You can be assured that your child will receive the best possible care and attention in our Nursery.
