The 5th Annual Gentlemen’s Competitive Cake Auction on Sunday, March 25, 2012, brought in more than $2,000 to fund summer youth mission acitivities. Twenty-three cakes were sold at a total price of $2,075. In voting, the rector’s Chestnut Cottage carrot cake won the coveted “Golden Apron”. This was Fr. Funston’s first win. A close second was Sean Hennigan’s Helicopter cake; Hennigan has won twice before. Last year’s winner, Paul Bunner, came in third with an Easter Bonnet cake.
