Our first reading this morning is from the Book of Job, which in the Jewish organization of Scripture is part of the Ketuvim (or “Writings) and is considered one of the Sifrei Emet or “Books of Truth”, which is really quite interesting since it is generally acknowledged to be a work of fiction.
